# Introduction

SpaceKeep is a developer identity platform. It gives you a single, portable profile that presents who you are — your projects, skills, links, and social presence — and lets you carry that identity across the web.

## What is SpaceKeep?

SpaceKeep combines ideas from developer profiles, personal websites, portfolio pages, and link pages into one platform. Your SpaceKeep profile is your central identity on the web:

- **Profile** — a public page at `spacekeep.dev/[username]` showcasing your identity
- **Projects** — showcase your work with descriptions, technologies, and links
- **Skills** — highlight your tech stack and technologies
- **Badges** — earn achievements for participation and activity
- **Integrations** — connect GitHub, Discord, Google, Spotify, Twitch, and more
- **Analytics** — track profile views and activity

## How SpaceKeep works

1. **Create an account** — sign up with email/password, a passkey, or an OAuth provider.
2. **Claim your username** — your profile lives at `spacekeep.dev/[username]`.
3. **Customize your profile** — add a bio, avatar, banner, links, projects, and skills.
4. **Connect integrations** — link GitHub to sync repositories and activity.
5. **Share your profile** — your profile is public and ready to share.
