Tasks

JARVIS keeps a task list you can drive from chat, review on a page, and script through the API.

JARVIS keeps a task list for your account. You can add to it in plain language, ask what is open, and mark things done — from a conversation or from the Tasks page.

The Tasks page

jarvis.spacekeep.dev/tasks shows your list with:

  • Open / Done / All filters.
  • An input for adding a task.
  • Complete, reopen, and delete on every entry.
  • Counts of what is open and what is done.

Your open tasks also appear on the Overview page, so the next thing on your list is always a click away.

Adding tasks from chat

Ask for it directly. JARVIS adds the item and confirms.

Add a task: renew the domain.
Create a task to ship the API docs.
Task: book the dentist.
Put groceries on my task list.

Adding the same open task twice does not create a duplicate.

Completing tasks from chat

Mark ship the API docs as done.
Check off renew the domain.
Done: book the dentist.

If your words match exactly one open task, it is marked done and JARVIS confirms.

If they match several, JARVIS asks which one you meant and changes nothing until you say. If nothing matches, it tells you what is on your list instead.

Asking about your list

Reads need no particular phrasing. JARVIS always sees your open tasks and answers from your real data — including the empty case.

What's on my list?
What do I still have to do?
Which of these is most urgent?
Add "email the invoice" to my list, then tell me what's left.

Working with tasks on the page

  • Add — type a title and submit. Up to 200 characters.
  • Complete — tick an item. This is reversible; completed tasks move to Done.
  • Reopen — an item under Done can be moved back to Open.
  • Delete — removes the task permanently.

Deleted tasks are gone. Completed tasks are not, so anything still in Done is recoverable by reopening it.

Tasks in the API

Your task list is scriptable through the same personal API key you use for chat. See API — Tasks.
