# Profile Overview

Your SpaceKeep profile is your public identity on the web. It lives at `spacekeep.dev/[username]` and combines your identity, projects, skills, and activity into one page.

## Profile sections

A SpaceKeep profile is made up of several sections:

| Section | Description |
| --- | --- |
| **Header** | Banner, avatar, display name, username, bio, and location |
| **GitHub card** | Connected GitHub account info, repository stats, and top repositories |
| **Badges** | Earned badges and achievements |
| **Tech stack** | Your skills and technologies |
| **Activity** | Spotify currently playing or Twitch live status (if connected) |
| **Reputation** | Your developer reputation score |
| **Contributions** | GitHub contribution graph |
| **Links** | Your custom links |
| **Projects** | Your showcased projects |

## Setting up your profile

Most profile customization happens in SpaceKeep settings:

1. **Add your identity** — display name, bio, and location in [General settings](/account/general/)
2. **Upload media** — avatar and banner in [Appearance settings](/account/appearance/)
3. **Choose a theme** — pick a visual theme in [Appearance settings](/account/appearance/)
4. **Add links** — in [Connections settings](/account/connections/)
5. **Add projects** — in [Projects settings](/profiles/projects/)
6. **Add skills** — in [Skills settings](/profiles/skills/)
7. **Connect GitHub** — in [Connections settings](/account/connections/)
