## What is SpaceKeep?

SpaceKeep is a developer identity platform. It gives you a single, portable profile that presents who you are — your projects, skills, links, and social presence — and lets you carry that identity across the web.

## How do I create a profile?

1. [Create an account](/getting-started/creating-an-account/) on SpaceKeep.
2. Choose your username — your profile lives at `spacekeep.dev/[username]`.
3. Add your profile information, links, projects, and skills in settings.
4. Your profile is live and ready to share.

## How do usernames work?

Your username is your unique identifier on SpaceKeep. It appears in your profile URL (`spacekeep.dev/[username]`) and is how people find you. You can change your username from your settings, but this changes your profile URL.

## How do I connect GitHub?

Go to [Connections settings](https://spacekeep.dev/settings/links) and choose **Connect GitHub**. Authorize SpaceKeep on GitHub, and your repositories, contribution graph, and activity will sync to your profile. See [GitHub Integration](/integrations/github/) for details.

## How do I customize my profile?

Customize your profile from SpaceKeep settings:

- **General** — display name, bio, location
- **Appearance** — avatar, banner, theme
- **Connections** — links and social accounts
- **Projects** — showcase your work
- **Skills** — list your technologies

## How do I change my theme?

Go to [Appearance settings](https://spacekeep.dev/settings/appearance) and choose from the available themes: Cyber, Glass, Minimal, or Dark. See [Themes](/profiles/themes/) for details.

## How do assets work?

You can upload an avatar and a banner from [Appearance settings](https://spacekeep.dev/settings/appearance). Avatars can be up to 5 MB and banners up to 10 MB, in JPG, PNG, WEBP, or GIF format. See [Assets](/assets/) for details.

## What integrations are supported?

SpaceKeep supports:

- **GitHub** — sign in and sync repositories
- **Google** — sign in
- **Discord** — sign in and display your profile
- **Spotify** — show your currently playing track
- **Twitch** — show your live stream status

## How does analytics work?

SpaceKeep tracks profile views and activity events. You can view your analytics from [Analytics settings](https://spacekeep.dev/settings/analytics). See [Analytics](/analytics/) for details.

## How do I delete my account?

Go to [Advanced settings](https://spacekeep.dev/settings/advanced) and choose **Delete Account**. This permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.
