Protect your SpaceKeep account with passwords, passkeys, and security settings.
Passwords
You can change your password from Security settings. You will need your current password to set a new one.
Note
If you signed up with an OAuth provider (GitHub, Google, or Discord) and never set a password, you can create one from Security settings.
Passkeys
Passkeys let you sign in using your device's biometric authentication (fingerprint, face recognition, or device PIN) instead of a password.
Adding a passkey
- Go to Security settings.
- Choose Add Passkey.
- Follow your device's prompts to create a passkey.
- Your passkey is now linked to your account.
Signing in with a passkey
- Go to spacekeep.dev/login.
- Choose the passkey option.
- Follow your device's prompts to authenticate.
Tip
Passkeys are more secure than passwords and resistant to phishing. You can use them on any device that supports WebAuthn.
