Creating an Account

Create your SpaceKeep account to claim your username and start building your profile.

Sign up

You can create an account using email and password, a passkey, or an OAuth provider.

Email and password

1. Go to spacekeep.dev/signup.
2. Choose a username (3+ characters, alphanumeric and underscores).
3. Enter your email address.
4. Choose a password (8+ characters).
5. Confirm your password.
6. Complete the signup.

After signing up, verify your email address by following the link sent to your inbox.

OAuth providers

You can also sign up using an existing account from:

• GitHub — sign up with your GitHub account
• Google — sign up with your Google account
• Discord — sign up with your Discord account

When you sign up with an OAuth provider, SpaceKeep creates an account linked to that provider. You can still set a password later and add other sign-in methods.

Passkeys

Passkeys let you sign in using your device's biometric authentication (fingerprint, face recognition, or device PIN) instead of a password.

1. Go to spacekeep.dev/signup.
2. Choose the passkey option.
3. Follow your device's prompts to create a passkey.
4. Your passkey is now linked to your account.

After you sign up

Once your account is created, you can:

• Set up your developer profile — add your bio, avatar, and links
• Connect GitHub — sync your repositories and activity
• Choose a theme — customize your profile's appearance
• Explore your settings — configure your account

Account management

You can manage your account from the settings area:

• General — update your display name, bio, and location
• Security — change your password, manage passkeys
• Connected accounts — link and unlink OAuth providers
• Advanced — export your data, reset your account, or delete your account
